Ayla C. Rand
Ayla Rand is The Goldsmith Law Firm’s paralegal. She comes to us from a personal injury law firm where she managed over a hundred cases and oversaw administrative tasks.
Ayla graduated from Warren Wilson College in 2017 with a B.A. History/Political Science and a B.A. in Sociology/Anthropology with a concentration in Gender and Women’s Studies.
While attending Warren Wilson, Ayla was the President of the Student Government Association, Founder and Facilitator of an intersectional feminist group (HEART), a Resident Director overseeing six residence halls, a Facilitator of Showing Up for Racial Justice, a Student Trustee on the Warren Wilson Board of Trustees, and a Deputy Campaign manager for a local County Commission primary. She dedicated much of her time in undergrad to community engagement, especially focusing on immigrant and women’s justice.
Ayla has conducted three original sociological and historical research projects, each of which were presented at different conferences.
While not working tirelessly for Goldsmith Law Firm clients, Ayla enjoys cooking, watching Star Trek, and spending time with her cat, Duchess Eleanor.
